My Work
I create mainly across three techniques: fused glass, traditional leaded stained glass and mosaic. All of them are completely different with their own advantages and limitations, while using the same magical material, glass.
Fused Glass
Kiln formed glass allows me to embrace controlled chaos. While being able to control the temperature and predict the outcome, what happens in the kiln is always a surprise.
Stained Glass
Stained glass requires precision and control. I steer away from traditional patterns, often drawing my designs free hand.
Mosaic
I find mosaic therapeutic and mindful. I let the pattern and tiles guide me to achieve fluid lines and interaction between the glass and light.
